Discorder is Vancouver’s long-running indie arts magazine, published by CiTR 101.9FM and powered entirely by volunteers. Since 1983, it’s been a launchpad for emerging writers, photographers, and illustrators covering the city’s underground music scene and beyond. Discorder publishes bi-monthly in print and online, spotlighting local concerts, independent films, zines, visual art, and underrepresented voices across Vancouver’s creative spectrum.

I first contributed to Discorder’s April–May 2024 issue, covering GWAR’s blood-pumping performance at The Vogue. Since then, I’ve been a regular contributor to the magazine. Notable pieces include a cover story interview with NATLAK in the June–July 2024 issue, a special feature on VIFF 2024 in the Dec–Jan 2024–25 issue, and most recently, a feature interview with Computer in the newly printed June–July 2025 issue.

Below, you’ll find excerpts from each issue I’ve contributed to — with more on the way!
